Daycare

NOW OFFERING: Little Dog Daycare for dogs and pups less than 30lbs. Hours are Wed and  Fri 7:30 – 5:30 at For Dogs, 251 Main Rd, Holden.

Renaissance Dogs in unique in the Bangor area by offering daycare with no kennels or cages. All dogs are carefully screened and placed in appropriate play groups*. Puppies are welcome after their second set of shots at 12 weeks.

Our main playroom is viewable from the lobby and has over 1,500 sf of rubber flooring, a large screen TV, and lots of soft places to take a nap. Outside we have over 7,000 sf of play space with 8ft high fence for your dog’s safety. Great toys and fresh water will always be available.

Daycare Rate: $20.00 per day  (as of July 15, 2011)

Prepaid Package Rate:  $180.00 for 10 days (must be used within 6 months)

2 Dogs: $30.00 per day

*Some dogs will be not be able to attend daycare at Renaissance Dogs due to lack of appropriate grouping. Please keep in mind that because we are a cage-free facility we do not have enough individual areas for dogs needing specialized groups.

Daycare Rules

• Dogs must be social with other dogs and spayed or neutered by 7 months.

• All dogs must be kept up to date on shots or proof of immunity (Rabies, Distemper, Bordatella <aka Kennel Cough or Canine Cough>, and flea and tick preventative <frontline, advantage or advantix>).

• An application and emergency contact sheet must be filled out for each dog attending daycare.

• Dogs must be evaluated before being allowed to attend daycare. (Please call to schedule an evaluation.)

• Reservations are required 24 hours in advance. No shows will be charged a $10 fee.

• All dogs must be picked up from daycare by 5:30. A late charge of $5 per 10 minutes or portion thereof will be charged after that time. If your dog is not picked up by 6:00 then your dog will be considered an overnight guest and you will be charged $25.00 for this additional service.

• The success of this type of facility relies on continuity; please consider bringing your dog at least once a week.

• Dogs found with fleas will be charged for shampoo and cleaning of facility $25.00

• Boarding is offered limited basis. The cost is $25 a night (1 day of daycare is included). Please pick up your dog before 10 am in order to avoid a $10.00 charge. Two dogs cost $40 per night.

• From time to time accidents happen, if your dog requires minor medical attention you will be notified in advance and have the option to take your dog to your own vet. In case of emergency your dog will be taken to the nearest veterinary clinic and treated at your expense.
